Despite Madge's other desperate attempts at acting this film allows you to forgive the others as her performance is outstanding,as is Antonio Banderas - a role he is not recognised for nearly as much as he should be.
The songs,rather than being songs to break up the momentum,help to tell the story,drawing the viewer in even more.a brilliant film and a must see.
