Review of Evil Dead Trap (1988) by Jason Y — 18 May 2004
(DVD)(Second Viewing, 1 Ikedu film seen).
A TV station employee takes a camera crew out to an abandoned factory to investigate a purported snuff film that was made there..
So this movie obviously inspired what has become The Ring - obviously ther Japanese ones more. Evil Dead Trap has a visual style much like Dario Argento, David Cronenberg, and Sam Raimi, and a few gory moments make the film scary and watchable. The ending will take you by surprise, but not in a good way. It goes oh so wrong.
