Review of Evil Dead Rise (2023) by Ice05 — 23 Apr 2023
I left the movie feeling disappointed and bummed out. The only good character is the mom (fantastic actress) everyone else was either unlikable or just plain forgettable (little girl was cool). Movie felt it held a lot of punches with bad pacing and even though the mom looks AMAZING as a deadite it didn't feel scary or super "horror".
To put it simply this Evil Dead movie is a Walmart/Disney version of the once amazing Evil Dead. Very very disappointed.
