A horror with more comedy than its sequel, but manages to be just as original and refreshing from the mindless slashers with magic monsters. The 'evil' in 'Evil Dead II' is more of a freak show than something actually terrifying.
But Raimi's filmmaking style keeps you entertained, both screaming and laughing.
