Review of Evil Dead (2013) by Ded-Meet C — 16 Nov 2013

A remake that will bring far more satisfaction to people who haven´t seen the original movie(s). Far messier and gorier than the original, but still less scary. Why? Because while the original was a low-budget production, this remake is indulging in gory special effects focusing on the visual but failing to utilize the psychological potential of the plot/story.

So - tons of gory action, but that's about it... That said this is still a decent movie - based on a good plot, nice special effects and well acted.
