Not a bad film and I did enjoy the little "winks" to the original... BUT, overall is it a collection of shot-for-shot scenes of the original films. If you are going to reboot/side-sequel a film, do not just re-film it with new people and effects.
The after-the-credits scene felt like a slap-in-the-face to fans of the original Evil Dead, at least to me.
