Doesn't compare to the original 3. I thought with the success with army of Darkness, Sam Raimi would have seen that the key to the success of the Franchise was humor and his trademark directing even seen in Spider-Man.
Although Bruce Campbell is listed as a producer in this, this remake takes itself too seriously as a horror film losing its cult like appeal. Bottom line, we wanted Bruce.
