Review of Evil Dead (2013) by Jaxon R — 30 Mar 2014
This is the first horror I have watched in years and it pulls no punches. In fact its sick plot is full of gore galore, which must be a hit with the latest generation of horror fans. The quirky re-jig of the original plot will sate the more learned ones.
Me? I'm neither and this obvious story of the unlucky antics of a group of stupid American teens is not one for my collection. Still I can appreciate what it's done well; creepy, shocking and visually disturbing!
