Oh remakes - why do I bother? This isn't The Evil Dead - it's a movie very loosely based on The Evil Dead that completely lacks the charm, wit and originality of the film on which it is based! This is just another by the numbers gore fest and on that basis it is effective but it's not The Evil Dead.
And seriously, the original characters were no where near as STUPID as these idiots!
