Review of Evil Dead (2013) by Isadore H — 08 Jan 2016

Lacks the humor of the originals, but it surprisingly barely suffers from it. This 90-minute gore fest is the rare remake that works. The acting is solid, and there is a sense of dread that is lurking during this whole movie.

Unapologetically gory and brutal, this remake keeps itself true to most of the originals content and ideas, but distances itself in a fresh, bloody way. Reccomend to horror fans anywhere.
