Review of Evil Angels (1988) by Fernando Rafael Q — 01 Jun 2009
The story is absolutely horrific and sad because it is true. What I found most interesting was the way it presented the entire investigation and media frenzy in great detail, showing exactly how forensic evidence was treated and presented in court, and how expert testimony played into this.
But that's my own academic interest. As a movie, I found it to be a bit too long and focusing on too many details. I can see why both the details of the case and the involved people's lives and feelings are relevant, but this did result in a long movie that is hard to sit through.
