Review of Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Sex *But Were Afraid to Ask (1972) by Mark S — 10 Feb 2012
The ever-so high-brow Woody Allen does low-brow. It's an odd fit, almost as much miss as hit, but a few of the sketches or 'answers' do contain laugh-out-loud moments. I first saw this years ago and all I could remember about it was the Gene Wilder/Daisy section of the film.
Watching it all again recently I still think that is far and away the best part, relying mainly on Wilder's brilliantly expressive and serious performance.
