Who'd thunk that Ian Fleming's novels on James Bond experienced abject FAILURE when first published??? British society was not ready for the rogue in his character. Naturally, it was a perfect fit for American cinema.
Yet, I had absolutely no idea of the life behind the camera with this entire franchise. No idea. Kind of similar to the harrowing story when Speilberg made the first Jaws! LOL. Simply amazing!
