I have heard people say some bizarre things in my life. Flat out bat-crap crazy things. A few examples...
"A beer? No thanks, I'll just have water".
"I'm a big fan of the New York Yankees!".
"I really don't enjoy sleeping".
"We here at the Chicago Bears have decided that we are going to go in a new direction, and have decided to trade Jim McMahon.".
Whatever Sean Penn just said.
"Have you ever watched a World Cup match?".
"I just bought some of those shoes with the toes!".
I agree with you, those are some of the dumbest things any human has ever said. Then, there is this one from my friend Tutters. Prepare yourself, this one may be the top of the heap of outrageous statements:
"'Anchor Man' is a terrible movie".
I know...I know...you've gone back and re-read that quote several times just to make sure you read it correctly. You did. He said it. To my horror, he actually believes it. My only explanation is that he must have suffered some sort of undiagnosed brain injury in his youth, which retarded the formation of the part of the brain that recognizes funny.
If I could go back in time, I would do two things: 1) save my dear, dear friend Tutters from this horrific injury. 2) watch 'Anchor Man' instead of 'Everything Must Go'. 3) Not watch soccer.
