Review of Everything Must Go (2011) by J G — 03 Dec 2011
A drinking sales director plunges into a depression, loses interest in life, gets fired, his wife kicks him out of the house with all of his stuff; and there he sits on his loan surrounded by things that used to matter.
A local policeman knows him and in order not to arrest him, suggests that he calls his current condition 'garage sale'. He employs a helper. As he rids of the stuff new opportunities open up, and hope for a new start sets in.
Neither touching, nor inspirational, just a gloomy story with uncertain end.
