Review of Everything Must Go (2011) by Jesse U — 17 May 2012
This is not your typical Will Ferrell movie by that I mean I wouldnt even consider it a comedy, its more of a drama. That being said, it is still a good movie. Ferrell plays an alcoholic who loses everything, his job, house, and wife all at the same time.
His wife ends up throwing all his stuff out on the front lawn so he pretty much lives out there. He meets a couple of friends along the way who help him to clean himself up and ends up selling everything he has in a yard sale.
I love Will Ferrell but never thought he would be able to pull off anything but comedy but he is actually very good in this movie. You end up feeling sorry for him because he pretty much has these 2 friends and thats it! If you go into this movie not expecting to see a typical Will Ferrell movie then you will enjoy it.
3 out of 5 stars.
