Review of Everything Must Go (2011) by Kem W — 01 Jun 2012
Will Ferrell tries gamely to carry the lead of this indie drama about a loser attempting to rebuild his life. He almost succeeds. Without youngster Christopher Jordan Wallace there to help, the movie would have been a lot worse.
This is not a bad indie drama. It's short and to the point, has some nice acting support (one of my character actor faves, Stephen Root, plays a fellow with quite an interesting hobby), and flashes of humor.
But like a lot of other indies, it's nothing great. Recommended for adults.
