Review of Everything Must Go (2011) by Jake M — 02 Jul 2012
Funny and slightly moving, but definitely nothing groundbreaking or worth rushing to the theaters to see. And you couldn't do that even if you wanted to because, well, it's on DVD. Ferrell plays a convincing alcoholic and Wallace is good as his teenage buddy.
And, despite some indie tropes and one out of place scene involving an old girl from Ferrell's character's high school, it turns out to be a film with very welcome warmth and a slightly non-PC nature.
