Review of Everything Must Go (2011) by Jens T — 07 Jul 2012
Everything Must Go is the story about the middle age Nick Halsey (Will Ferrell) who gets fired from his job after 16 after many alcohol related embarrassments. But that's not his biggest problem. He's wife have also left him, and he's even change the locks on the house, and all of Nick's furniture and personal belongings is moved out in the back yard, and the police have notified him that he only have five days to get rid of all the stuff. He gets help from the neighbor boy Kenny (Christopher Jordan Wallace) to organize a flea market.
Everything Must Go is a good comedy with a lot of charm, thanks to Will Ferrell, a character that we really feel for sorry for his situation. It is a good comedy, because it deals with a theme that most of us hopes not to experience, and Will Ferrell shows us how to deal with it. Thumbs up.
