Review of Everything Must Go (1996) by Dannie O — 29 Oct 2011
A very low key and chilled out flick...
Following Nick during a couple of key days in his life makes for an amusing and very entertaining film. The plot is minimal, but the characters and dialogue are terrific. Watching Ferrell take on a more grounded character shows that he has dramatic ability (Stranger than fiction already proved that though). His scenes with Rebecca Hall are sweet and the decision to not make Nick a particularly likeable guy makes this all the more interesting to watch.
Altogether, this is a totally enjoyable and laid back little tale....
