Review of Everything Must Go (1996) by Jimmy F — 05 May 2012
Everything Must Go is a mundane film about a man whose life hits rock bottom. He loses his job, battles alcoholism, and is in denial about his impending divorce. Along the way, he makes new friends and attempts to change his set ways.
This movie ha the potential to be great but lacked the moments that make you realize a new leaf is to be turned over. It is a slow and dull film that needed only one thing in it to make it better: inspiration.
Ferrell gives a fine dramatic performance, but this one is worth skipping over.
