Review of Everything Must Go (1996) by Chelsea M — 10 Aug 2013
I'd heard this was in the same vein as "It's A Wonderful Life" so was ready for something uplifting with a huge swing from despair to triumph. However, it was mostly quite boring. The huge swing doesn't come.
Will Ferrell's character mostly just sits on his lawn for the entire thing and he has a few conversations along the way. There's no real epiphany, nothing to suggest life is going to be any different for him after the credits roll.
All very underwhelming.
