Review of Everything Must Go (1996) by Brent B — 18 Oct 2011
Will Ferrell goes more serious in this movie about a man getting hit by everything that life can throw at him at once. It's not bad, but it's still Will Ferrell, who I just have a problem with so this rating is definitely biased.
It has that "everyday magic"-indie feeling to it and the issues it deals with are pretty moving, but the end result is only kinda good, especially since 85% of the movie we're watching Ferrell do pained expressions of a man wrecked by deep inner turmoil.
..guess if he pulls it off?
