Review of Everything Must Go (1996) by Saad K — 10 Jul 2012
Everything must Go - CATCH IT (B).
Everything Must Go is very interesting story about a alcoholic man who has lost everything from his wife, job and life. He is standing on verge of destruction. His wife kicks him out and leaves all his things out in open loan. Now he has five days to turn his life around.
Will Farrell is great as alcoholic man, trying to figure out the aftermaths of his actions. Christopher Wallace, the sweet black kid is superb. Will Farrell and his moments are most interesting ones in the movie. Rebecca Hall is refreshing, though I still don't see her ever be a star. She is always there but never memorable. Laura Dern is nice.
On the whole, it's a good movie but ending is disappointing because it doesn't give any pathway for him. In the end you realize it stood on the same level and ended without giving any solution for his life. But anyway still I had good time watching it, it's a feel good movie.
