Review of Everything Is Illuminated (2005) by Dan B — 27 Mar 2010
What to say besides: Wonderful!
For a directorial debut for Liev Schreiber, it is almost unbelievable. The four main characters; Jonathan, Alex, Alex's grandfather, and Alex's grandfather's "seeing eye bitch" balance (I thought for a while to try to think of a better word) this film so well that when they encounter the fifth main character; Lista It's like the four are holding the corners of a blanket for her to fall into.
Sorry if that is an obscure analogy but it isn't my purpose to give away the plot or for that matter, write movie reviews.
