I find very little to dislike about this movie. The beginning was my least favorite part of the movie. It was just quirky to a fault, thankfully the movie isn't always being quirky just for the fuck of it.
It actually builds to a really lovely and touching little story about self-discovery and never forgetting about your past. I remember wanting to buy the book because I was interested in the movie. For some reason I didn't, and I regret that now.
Though there's obvious differences between the book and the movie. But yea I really liked this movie...strong story, strong and likable characters and strong performances really make the movie into a really wonderful experience.
