Directed by Liev Schreiber and starring Elijah Wood, this movie follows a young man named Jonathan, along his pilgrimige of sorts to the Ukraine, the homeland of his grandfather. His quest: to locate Augustine, the woman who saved his grandfather from Anti-Semetic killings.
Schreiber does a great job portraying the poverty and beauty of the Ukraine, while he fails to "illuminate" several plot points. Meh.
