Review of Everything Is Illuminated (2005) by Lenka S — 19 Aug 2008
An incredibly telling film of the Holocaust without too much violence. The loss and despair, and the change and new life. Schreiber did an amazing job getting the point across without making this like every other Holocaust movie.
The acting was amazing and the look into Ukraine was 'illuminating,' gah! I didn't just do that! It was enlightening. The soundtrack was great to tie in the feel of the moment to the image.
