Enjoyed this far more than the 3 stars I'm giving it. Reduced rating as I think it would have been much more successful as either a surreally jokey road movie or as a serious dark look at the horrors of mid 20th century Europe.
Trying to do both didn't quite ring right and the arty dream sequences didn't add anything. However as stated I did enjoy this film a lot, the surreally jokey road movie part is very good.
