Review of Everything Is Illuminated (2005) by Josh B — 23 Apr 2009

I really thought I'd hate this film, I don't like Elijah Wood, I'm sick and tired of Jewish stories and the idea of an American movie set in the Ukraine was almost enough for me not to watch it.

For some reason I did get it out and I really enjoyed it. It would have been worth it for the old man alone, but really it was more than that, it was the story that really spoke to me, a very subtle story.
