Review of Everything Is Illuminated (2005) by Rachel H — 20 Oct 2009

I love this movie! If you like Elijah Wood you have to see this! I have been waiting for a movie to make death beautiful and this movie did it for me! Death was so beautiful that I stopped breathing! There are a couple of images that will forever be burned into my skull.

This is a poignant movie for anyone who cares about their family or their past. I'm pretty sure I cried but I'm not sure. It will probably make you cry so there I warned you. Liev Schrdiber adapted this from a memoir, then directed it.

This was his first time. I think he needs to make another movie, ONLY if he can find something as good or better than this. This movie should be part of the curriculum for history classes because this movie has to do with Jewish/Nazi history.

So if you like history you should see this movie. So basiclly go see this movie. But only see it if you have time to think about it after wards because it's a thinking kind of movie. Therefore if you don't think about life or something heavy like that then you're not a human being and I will happily lecture you and we'll re-watch the movie with my commentary.

And some of you know exactly how much fun that is. ;).
