Review of Everything, Everything (2017) by Davidtejada — 22 Jun 2017
"Everything, Everything" DOESN'T HAVE THAT EVERYTHING you've been expecting from a romantic movie. Instead of focusing on the main argument of the movie (the romance between Maddy and Olly) the movie tries to go deeply on her SCID problem, which is disappointing because I firstly thought this was supposed to be a satisfying teenage-romantic film, not a problem between her and her illness.
But it turned out to be just another failure. DON'T GET ME WRONG, they do have their moments, however there's still no satisfaction at all. This whole movie could have been a copy-paste between "The fault in our Stars" (because of the problem that Hazel Grace had to deal with and finally the risks that she took for living her live at the fullest) and "Tangled" (because of the argument that the mother locked her daughter at home until her 18th birthday).
Then I honestly didn't find something surprising with this one. So guys if you have a girlfriend and want to see something touching and heartwarming, you'd better watch WONDER WOMAN than this unfocused story.
