I recently bought this movie on Vimeo and I think that this movie was very well done and show an interesting story plot. For those unfamiliar with Wong Fu Productions, they started out on YouTube making short films and have prided themselves on telling stories they identify with.

To the average moviegoer, this movie may seem different from the typical Hollywood romance film, and it is. It isn't meant to conform to the typical tropes because you are meant to follow the characters in-depth and fill in the blanks in your head instead of simply putting your faith on dramatic changes.

I personally enjoyed this movie, there were times when things felt stagnant and it progresses its parallel storytelling at a pace that doesn't make you feel lost or confused. There are definitely some moments where dialogue may seem almost "cringe-y" but it casts a realism to relationships that does away with typical on-screen relationships and appeals to people on a personal level.
