Dazed And Confused is one of my all-time favorite movies, so I couldn't wait to see EWS. But I found the characters dorky and the music lame. Bi mistake focusing on jocks. Jocks WERE dorks in 1980.

And tunes like My Sharona were dorky as well. Linklater missed a great opportunity to resurrect the wit and heavy rock music of the "stoner" crowd!
