Another winner from Richard Linklater! Following his success with his amazing 12-year journey with the film Boyhood, Linklater takes us back to the 80s right as college is about to begin for several hopeful college baseball players! The result is a frequently funny, never dull film that kept me laughing and smiling from start to finish! It does for 80s college what Linklater's Dazed and Confused did for 70s high school, although this film admittedly does rely a little bit much on the formula that made Dazed and Confused so great as well.
