Richard Linklater's latest is a baseball movie that doesn't have a baseball scene in it until the final act. Like all Linklater flicks he develops the characters and you are left captivated and wanting more.

I love the casting of this, so many unknowns who soon will be knowns. The soundtrack will have you craving songs from the era and the story is a lot of fun. True to the period and baseball and the idiosyncrasies of each.
