Review of Every Which Way but Loose (1978) by Jason O — 15 Nov 2010
As with all Clint Eastwood films, I loved this one...soon I'll be able to say I've seen all his movies, and I'd love to own every one of them, and that counts the ones he directs! I remember being on a guided tour last year to the West, and visiting Sturgis, South Dakota, when the tour guide pointed to a bar there and said several scenes of a Clint Eastwood film were shot there, but didn't remember him saying which one it was. Well, apparently it was this one, cause I recognized Sturgis and the Black Hills in an instant! It looked the same 31 years earlier as it did in 2009. So I've been somewhere and walked the same street as where my all time favorite actor shot a big movie scene fight. Too cool!
Nice twist with Sondra Locke turning on Eastwood, and Clint then losing a fight, didn't see that coming!
