Review of Every Which Way but Loose (1978) by Joel H — 29 Apr 2018
This is a classic film that celebrates kindness, generosity, trust, sensitivity to others' feelings, sticking up for loved ones and not letting anyone take advantage of you. It's unusual in that the girl the hero falls in love with turns out to be a selfish user.
I suppose the message is it's better to be dumb and decent than smart and selfish.
