Review of Every Secret Thing (2014) by Jerry T — 25 Sep 2015
This movie could have been better had it delved deeper into the procedural side of the plot, much like the typical procedural law enforcement TV series which are so popular today. Instead, it just seemed to me, to revolve around suspicion of police against a former convict and the question of an act she committed as a child.
Shallow is the best word I can use to describe it; interesting, but it had the potential to have been much better. It just seemed that the energy and desire to captivate the viewer was missing.
