Review of Every Little Step (2008) by Randall S — 23 Jun 2009
I laughed, I cried. An astonishing documentary for anyone who's ever auditioned for ANYTHING... whether a Broadway show or just a job at Starbucks. The phrase "I really need this job" is so powerful, and so true.
And if you're a Broadway fan, this film is a true slice of heaven. As documentary films go, it's beautifully crafted -- nice arc-ing storyline, amazing character development, bits of history, very nice.
Made me wish I'd seen the revival while it was still playing on Broadway (2006). But also made me happy in remembering every Broadway show I've ever seen, and there are many.
