Like Taken, Everly lacks brains. Unlike Taken, it also lacks an emotional connection and purpose. Its also grisly violent and refuses to justify a lot of it. But if you're looking for a blood-splattered thriller I suppose if you looked really hard you could find something worse than Joe Lynch's latest.
