Review of Everlasting Moments (2008) by James R — 10 Jan 2009
A wonderful idea, but stretched in so many directions that it loses its focus. In 1907, Mama wins a camera. What unfolds afterward is her new way of looking at the world, finding strength and emancipation as the male-dominated culture evolves.
Wonderful performances and some evocative visuals, this movie feels like it was made in the 1970s.
