Review of Everlasting Moments (2008) by Margareta R — 25 Mar 2009
Beautifully executed portrait of difficult times, for people in general, and for main character Maria in particular. The story is told very poetically and calmly, allthough the circumstances are often grim and gruesome. Excellent casting; Mikael Persbrandt is suberb as the drunken husband.
Amidst all the hardship and need, we get to discover the miracle that is photography through Maria. It's so precious and beautiful, an example of the little things that we today tend to forget more and more.
