Review of Everlasting Moments (2008) by Andrea L — 23 Apr 2009
This film in a very good way illustrates both how much Swedish society has changed in a hundred years and reminds us of just how patriarcal, conservative and oppressive the system/culture has been (which is easy to forget in contemporary Sweden where we pretend that the state never has oppressed anyone).
I love how it integrates politics, feminism and socialism to give us a multi-facetted, complex drama.
