If you can get past the creative attempts at the New Zealand accent. This is a tragic but gripping account of the 1996 storm that took the lives of commercial mountaineers and some of their clients. Jason Clarke plays a decent and ultimately over considerate Rob Hall, Josh Brolin is well cast as a journeyman adventure tourist and Jake Gyllenhaal was looking mildly over worked.
