Simultaneously awe-inspiring and terrifying, Everest takes the unknowable difficulty of this otherworldly challenge and makes it (sometimes a bit heavy-handedly) personal. With excruciating attention to detail and a very candid approach to this legendary tale, it does exactly what it needs to - leaves the audience speechless at the insurmountable forces of nature.
Beautiful cinematography, an awe-inspiring dedication to reality, and enough tension and emotion to keep the most weathered adventurer on the edge of their seat make this one worth venturing out for.
