Review of Everest (2015) by Julian L — 03 Oct 2015
Plenty of what-if's. Had he not gone? had he not helped doug. Everest is about the human desire to conquer and push beyond limits. With those limits come risk. The film itself is short of pushing that desire, yes it's survival but it doesn't show why the climbers wanted it so bad.
The saddest thing is the producers are pushing Gyllenhall and Brolin as the main actors; really? and kiera knightley's role could have been shot in 4-5 takes. The main actor is mother nature.
