Movies are supposed to transport you to another time and place, and that's really the case with Everest. I really felt like I was getting a first hand look at what it would be like to tackle the tallest mountain in the world.

I mean there's no way on earth I would ever climb Everest, but I see why people do. There were times during the movie I felt the cold, and rare air that the people on screen were experiencing. The first two acts are really good and if anything the final act loses a little steam.

There is some feeling manipulation going on with who you should like and who you shouldn't. However, all in all you are sitting there watching this and wondering how on earth did they film this thing on the mountain.

You know there was no way, but yet it sure seems like it.
