I guess I don't have to be concerned about "spoiler alerts" because the movie is based on a true story. So, in a nutshell, things don't go so well and the adventure-of-a-lifetime ends very badly for many climbers.

Several bad decisions (when the professionals actually knew better), inadequate resources and too many people climbing at the same time illustrate how control is lost and the end result is very, very bad.

This activity is definitely not on my bucket list ......
