Review of Everest (2015) by Jerome K — 22 Oct 2015
Because this film is based on a real-life event, it's not your typical convoluted and drama-filled Hollywood thriller. It's a pretty simple narrative: people climb Mt. Everest, a storm hits, and only some make it back.
The characters have some depth, although I don't feel as invested in them as I feel I should. I will say that the cinematography is breath-taking, portraying the mountains as both majestic and perilous.
